Shipping Policy

At Minor Magic, we send all parcels that are less than 120cm in length and less than 22kgs in weight by Australia Post using their Regular Parcel service. When you purchase your parts from us and proceed through checkout, the only option you will have is Australia Post.

If you do not wish to have your purchases sent via Australia Post, please call Darren or Shelley on 02 4334 4123

All orders placed before 3pm will generally leave that day. Exceptions to this will be if the item is out of stock. If the parcel cant leave on the day it was ordered, we will call or email to let you know.

Parcels or letters less than 500 grams can not be tracked. All other parcels will be tracked.

The minimum shipping value for all parcels is $12.30. This website is unable to differentiate between items that can be sent as a letter and small parcels. If an order is placed and the item/s can be send using Australia Post's letter rate, we will always refund the difference. Items that can be sent via letter rate are packages that are less than 20mm thick and weigh less than 500 grams. When placing your order for packages that are within the above size and weight guidelines, we will always refund the difference via your original payment method.

All international parcels will always be sent via Australia Post and will be tracked.

Tracking numbers are not always noted in our system. If you require tracking for any parcel, please just give us a call on 02 4334 4123 and we will check the tracking for you and pass on the tracking number so you can track the parcel yourself via Australia Post's website. All parcels under 500 grams will not have tracking numbers.

Insurance is not included on any Australia Post parcel we send. If you would like insurance please let us know by either calling us on 02 4334 4123 or emailing us at parts@minormagic.com.au

If you would like your parcels sent via Australia Post's Express Service, please call us as soon as possible during business hours after you have made your purchase. We can then modify the way your parcel is sent. Please have your credit card details handy for any additional charges. If there is additional charges, we will quote you those when you call. We can then pack the item for express postage and take the extra payment always via Credit Card.

The postage you pay includes an amount of $4 per package which includes packaging materials, the label and transport to our postage depot. The packaging charge is a flat rate across the board when packages are sent via Australia Post.

For parcels over 120cm in length and 22 kgs in weight, these will be sent via courier. These parcels will be quoted on an individual basis and will be sent via Transdirect. This company scans all freight companies to give us the most economical carrier for your purchased items. We will call you while we are packing your parcel to let you know if your package has exceded Australia Posts maximum limits. There is no way the Ecommerce shop can know if the parcel will exceed those limits. If you have paid Australia Post charges during checkout, these will be credited towards your courier freight. If you have paid more than needed, we will credit you via your original payment method straight away.

If you place more than 1 order on the same day which quite often happens, we will always combine postage providing the total package weight does not exceed 22kgs. We will always credit the excess freight charge back to you via your original payment method.

We will always package your parts well to ensure you receive them in the same condition in which they left our premises.

Occasionally some parcels will be sent with a mystery empty box taped to the outside of the main box. This is to stop Australia Post cubing the parcel. Cubing  significantly increases the postage charges which means we would have to pass these onto you, our valued customer. By making the parcel an irregular shape, Australia Post can not Cube the parcel so therefore all parcels will be send by weight only saving you money.
